I'm not a huge fan of punk, but I can respect the scene. I especially can appreciate bands that were punk when punk wasn't the "in" thing like it is the late 90's and 2000. Neo-punk, punk-revival, or whatever they are calling crap like MxPx these days is actually just pop with punk influences and is diametrically opposed to everything punk is. Crashdog, however, are old school punk. This disc came out in 1990 when pop metal and arena rock were flavors of the day. Everything about this disc screams real punk from the cover art, to the raw production, to a singer named Spike Nard. My only real reason for owing this, however, is the song "Bloody Lane" which is a bizarre mix of punk with bagpipes. Killer song.
