Well produced Christian melodic metal/AOR from Canada. "Dying to Live" was the bands second album and is also their most well known, due to some decent marketing from a label with good distribution. When this disc first came out I checked it out and was not overly impressed, mostly due to the fact that at the time, I was more interested in the heavier side of metal. Having
grown to like the more melodic stuff over time I must say this disc is much better than I remember it. There are actually some pretty heavy numbers on this one, including album opener "Apathy" and "Daddy's Little Girl." Of course there are plenty of radio-ready, keyboard soaked power ballads in the tradition of Warrant and Bon Jovi. The title track is one such number as is
"Lost in the Rain" and ""Welcome to Despair." "My Pal Judas" is a bass driven, funky rocker. "Pain Inside" is a bluesy mid paced rocker. This disc has been out of print for years. I bid on this cd on eBay a few times but wasn't really willing to pay more that the low bid ($5), so I was almost always outbid. I finally found this cd in a clearance bin for 99¢. Can't beat that.

Siloam also put out third disc called "Croak."
