Phil Collins
Phil Collins is the former singer/drummer/songwriter/frontman
for Genesis.
Unfortunately most of his solo material is even more pop oriented than even
later day Genesis.

This is a great album for late nights with the wife, If ya know what I mean. Being the huge Genesis fan I was/am, I loved this album when it came out. Still like it today, but mostly for the reason I listed at the beginning of this paragraph. "Behind the Lines" is a jazzy version of the Genesis song, and "Tomorrow Never Knows" is a real psychedelic Beatles tune. (Trouble also does a mean version of that song.)

Uh, Top 40 dribble from a man capable of much better. Found it used cheap, thought I'd give it a try as I really like the first solo disc. This one isn't as good, although it was a big seller for Phil. This chart-topping album contains five that made it in the top 5 and pushed this album to platinum sucess. ("Another Day in Paradise, " "I Wish It Would Rain Down, " "Do You Remember?, " and "Something Happened on the Way to Heaven, ")
