Sweden's Anaemia are full throttle, head banging neo-thrash metal with influences ranging from Exodus to Kyuss to My Dying Bride to Black Sabbath. Their sound is sometimes fast, sometimes melodic but always intense. Can't say that this matches the quality of their influences, but they certainly aren't bad either. Anaemia also incorporate sad sounds of Swedish folk songs to their metal. The vocals are mostly in the shouted thrash metal style but they also mix in some darker sounding voices and even an occasional death grow. Nice digi-pack with an eight page full color insert.
