Well, I guess there is a perk to having a web page like this--free cds. This disc was sent to me all the way from Germany by the band's label. So does this mean I will sell-out and write reviews to please record companies? Heck no, but I will not refuse free cds either if they want to give them to me. Blood Red Angel are another band attempting to resurrect thrash metal. Their sound is a throwback to Slayer and Dark Angel. Now to some this may be a bad thing as reviewers tend to want the next big thing. I, on the other hand, could care less about the next big thing. Blood Red Angel are stinking heavy and aggressive. In 2001 Germany's Gutter has released several thrash metal platters including Demolition and Ultimatum. From what I understand this is a sub label of Massacre that is attempting to resurrect thrash metal, a genre that is again growing in popularity in Germany. Now this is a trend I could admire.
